Anyone Else Use a Discover Card?

Like many people, I am going to have to put my WDW trip expenses on a credit card (Resort, Tickets, hotels/restaraunts on the way and gasoline). I am thinking about using my Discover Card since it has a zero balance. That way I can easily keep track of my vacation expense. Master Card and Visa are accepted almost anywhere, but how about Discover? Should I be okay to use it? or do some places not accept it? Does anyone else use Discover? If so, have you encountered any problems?

Disney is happy to accept your money any way that they can. All major credit cards are accepted anywhere you go.

I have indeed used my Discover Card at WDW, and they gladly accepted my purchases, although I now prefer to gain points on my Disney Visa.

The biggest problem with the Discover card cashback is that it's only up to $300 in purchases within a quarter. So, since hotels/gas/theme parks are July-September, you'll only receive 5% cash back on purchases up to $300, then it reverts to the standard 1%. I just discussed this with them yesterday. This made us decide to purchase our almost $600 theme park tickets with my husband's Disney Visa; it's more advantageous to us to get the points toward the gift card.

*We'll have no problem getting to the $300 with MNSSHP tickets and other items (gas, hotel) unrelated to our October trip.
