Anyone else stuck in a blizzard?

Well, my school division is closed due to a blizzard today (thanks be ... I really didn't want to drive an hour out of the city on the highways in winds gusting to 75 km) and now I'm stuck inside dreaming up ways to get in an extra trip to WDW in August.

I'm on the airline sites, the WDW site, even DCL and DL! I even mapped out and calculated gas and hotel costs for the 33 hour drive it would take should we decide to road trip it. I'm looking at my monthly budgets, seeing where I can squeeze out the extra cash. Why, oh, why do I do this to myself? :lol:

Anyone else in the same boat/blizzard?

August? Morgan and I are there 22 August to 4 September.... Not that I'm trying to influence your choice of dates or anything... :lookaroun

Lol ... I need to be back by the end of August since the schools will open up two weeks prior to September 7. Gotta get that classroom prepped and organized. I'm looking at August 18-25, give or take.

Where are you staying this time? With my 40% off pin, I'm thinking the Poly again (Jackson hasn't stayed there yet) or the BC/YC. (My justification for going deluxe ... with the 40% off, it would be the same price as a mod :lookaroun )

Pouring rain & blowing a gale here in my little section of NY. :wave: It's 54 degrees!!! They say snow by the weekend :shrug:

We're currently booked at All Star Sports, mainly because we're there 13 nights. If I get a PIN, that might change. :king:

I'm looking to hit up Universal for the first time [Harry Potter made the decision easy], so we'll be alternating for the two weeks we're there. If there's overlap we'll def have to meet up!
