I'm thinking they're just balls painted silver. You know those balls that are at chuck e cheese in a ball pit? I'm thinking it's like those. Back in the day before fastpass, the other line didn't have steps and you could see them better.

I was thinking they are just the Chuck-e-cheese balls painted silver myself... never really bothered to think if they had any significance or symbolism.

When I was a kid, I always wanted to jump into them because they looked just like the balls you'd find at a place like Chuck-E-Cheese.

I saw them for the first time during our last trip. Most times we fastpass the ride and are quickly walking through the first part. This last trip we went at a much slower pace and so when we were walking through the queue I looked down and thought it looked like a ball pit down there.

Plastic. Some cheerleaders and their boyfriends jumped down and grabbed some and were throwing them around. They were escorted from the park. :D

Not sure if it's true but I've heard stories of some nasty things being spotted down there, ie bug and snakes. After hearing the snake story, whether true or not, I always get a little creeped out when I look down into the pit. :hurl:

:sohappy: I always rejoice when I hear about park regulation! Allows the rest of us to get fully immersed in the magic, rather than be disturbed by those that just "don't get it."

Reminds me of a ball pit at a fast food play place. I just want to jump in, but who knows how deep, or shallow, that is! Could do some serious damage.
