Well I don't plan on seeing the new Alice movie. It seems to me like most movies to be an absolute mistake to remake.

I get what you're saying about most movies nowadays being a remake, sequel, 'reimagining', reboot, etc. I agree with you 100%. Although this is not exactly an outright remake...more of a sequel of sorts, with a 'reimagining' of Wonderland. For example Wonderland is really called Underland, but nicknamed Wonderland by it's inhabitants. There's also stuff taken from Carrol's 'Jabberwocky' poem. I'm definitely interested in seeing what Burton does with it, especially in 3-D, but I'm not having any expectations going in, good or bad.
