Anyone else into drag racing

Hi All-

Just wondering if anyone out there is into NHRA drag racing and, if so, will you be attending/watching the season opener in Pomona this weekend?

my dad has been drag racing for 30 years.hes been to most nhra races.loves super chevy in morosso speedway in palm beach.also raced at raceway park in new jersey.

last 3 cars he had were
1972 chevy nova ss-with 396 big block
1976 chevy biscanyne 454 big block
1967 camaro 427
he also dabbled in drag bikes until he dumped one spent 6 months in hospital

yeah, I love drag racing!!! That is, when it's about 11 at night and I'm dragging some guy down the highway!! Lol, it's always fun seeing the cops ahead and slowing down to watch the other guy get pulled over... erm... i mean, I don't do that!!

Glad to hear I'm not the only drag racing nut out there. We've been the ones out there at 2 am looking for a street race...was exciting. Now, I love the fuel funny cars. My husband works on one so we'll be in Pomona, CA this weekend.
