Anyone else heard that EE is closed?

We got a chance to ride this as well on Thurs. 3 times.......awesome! I was suprised to see it open. But as well, we were staying at the BCV and recieved the same voicemail, that the ride was closing for some last minute touches. They were not clear as to whether or not EE will be open again before April.
Maybe I mis-understood about the re-opening on the voice mail. Monty said they rode Sat. which is the day they said it would be open for AKL guests. Any Sun. or later riders?

I suspect installing cameras and related equipment for the on-ride photos will require a bit of a shutdown, but not almost two months?

Actually the cameras are already installed. They have been there since before the AP preview, they just haven't been using them.

The movie no has had heard about!
OT, but I saw some preview material for The Wild, and had the same thought nearly everyone else I've talked to has had: "Doesn't look to be quite as good as Madagascar," either in story or execution.

Cool. Do they have display screens as well? I didn't notice any [but after riding, I tended to be less aware of my surroundings than I might normally be ]

I believe the first little hole in the wall door on the left of the gift shop as you enter from the ride is the camera, and the checkout counters bear similarities to those purposely built in gift shops with photo pickup locations

The screens were not yet installed when I last was one the ride.

Hopefully it's open on Monday, cause I want to get my dad and sister on the ride, seeing as they are coming down from Michigan to visit me. If not oh well, but hopefully things work out for them.

If I'm not mistaken it's between the yeti projection and the big drop (right after you take off from the track switch).

That's actually a little dissapointing, you would think it would be where you shoot under the yeti. That scene would get some good pictures.

SillySpook is right. Your picture will be taken right before the large drop out the front. To be honest I am glad they are not going to do it in the Yeti scene. The flashes going off would ruin the lighting in the Yeti scene.

My co-workers wife was on it the other day and it broke down at the top. she had to walk all the way down and was not able to get back on it because it shut down after that.
