Anyone else do this?

New guest, I'd go for Splash. My favorite. It has lots of color, characters, music, thrill of the drop, picture for posterity, a ride that goes on for 11 minutes, it just screams Disney. Then moving on I'd go to whatever attraction suits them depending on what type of things the newbie likes.

I love that my 6 year olds favorite right is Splash Mountain....out of everything else there, my little boy loves Splash Mountain just as much as I do. My oldest doesn't like it because of the drop, my youngest is only 2 and only 28 inches, so not tall enough.

SM is something Logan and I get to do together and have a blast doing it! :D I love his first ride and his expression...right in the front row. haha

Everyone is wowed by something different. I can usually guess what people will and won't like, but I've been surprised, too.

I figure they'll either be impressed by the parks or they want be. Most people are. :) But I don't care if they aren't, really.

Generally, when I take newbies, the first thing we ride is SSE or IASW, but that's more an issue of when we arrive and what we run into first.

Everyone loves Spider-Man. I have yet to go on that with anyone who didn't love it. Spider-Man is probably the most reliable Wow ride, I guess. But it's at Uni, not Disney.

When I took my then GF now DW to her first trip to WDWher bigest reaction was'nt in my favorite ride (it's a great ride just not my favorite) Her funiest reaction was on Peter Pan's flight. When we climb into the ship she notice the track under it (guiding rail) as soon as we got in Wendy's room she grab my arm and ask ''Where's the f***ing tracks gone?'' I was laughting I could'nt respond to her until we got to the mermaid scene by simply pointing up!!
17 years later and I still laught at her when we ride Peter Pan.
