Anyone at wilderness lodge right now?

So last night one of the girls left her phone on a ride and it's showing at Wilderness lodge like right now (assuming find my iPhone is correct). It's in a pink otter box case, inside of one if those Minnie Mouse wrist things. Front desk didn't turn up anything with lost and found, so boyfriend is headed there to hunt it down. Anyway, drop me a line if you happen to see it.

Yeah, no one answered. So here's what happened. It was at Wilderness Lodge (which boyfriend said was pretty cool) in a safe. staff apparently was pretty tripped out by that app. The lady went around with the boys phone and made it ping. Then they had to go get management out of a meeting in order to get into the safe.

Interesting! I have to ask... did you guys even go to WL? And when you say it was in a safe, do you mean like a room safe, or a safe in a back office for resort CM's (like in a "cash room" type place)?

cw1982 you beat me to the same questions. I was confused...did someone find it in a park and take it to their own room safe at WL? or did they lose it on a bus that ended up at WL? Enquiring minds want to know? Either way...glad it was found.

Back office safe. A CM took the boys phone and pinged the other phone with it. We were staying at AoA. Back I. Texas now. Phone almost dead. southwest lost our luggage. Boyfriend is supper not happy. Lots of stories. More in a few hours.

How in the world did it end up at WL if the phone was originally left on either BTMRR or Splash? Lol... Sorry you're having a rough time with your luggage, but I'm glad the phone thing worked out. I'd love to hear more later

Ok, on the road home and got some juice in my phone. The general idea is that someone who was staying at WL rode either of those rides after the girl, found the phone and didn't think to turn it in till they got back to the resort. We were at the MK till well after 1 am. Saw kiss goodnight.
And at that exact time the other girl realized she lost her gift card. Yeah. Nuts. Exciting, but nuts.

That has to be the most bizarre thing I've heard in a long time. Who finds a phone in Frontierland and brings it to the WL lost and found?

Someone found my AP in Epcot and turned it in at CBR. I assume that is where he/she was staying. Probably the same situation with the phone, guest was staying at WL.
