Does anyone know at what hotel this happened? I tried to search the Florida news sites, but couldn't even get info from CBS 4

We usually hear these things by now. I went to cfnews13.com our central florida 24 hour news channel and found nothing on the story.

Sounds a bit like the story a year or so ago of a woman who was "robbed" at the end of her stay of $10,000, jewelry and airline tickets....

possible, but also could be an attempt at a free ride.

This sounds like what they call 'yellow' journalism.
Note that the story was careful not to mention what the hotel was but just tried to imply that it was at WDW.

This did happen, it was on the local news here a couple of days ago. It WASN'T at a Disney Resort but a hotel off property. The local news sites have already taken the story down as it wasn't that big a deal in the scheme of things... meaning, there have been more robberies, murders and various big stories since here in central Florida.

That is too bad. It seems like people really let their guard down when on vacation. At least no one was hurt. Cell phones and money can be replaced.
