Anybody else get this DVD set?

Last Christmas, while I was looking over another Disney site, I saw an ad for a DVD set of videos for every ride at WDW. It was ony like $9 so I went and checked out the web site.

It was laughingplace.com, now I don't intend this to be a bashing of this site, they seem to be ok to me, but the DVD video that I got was some of the worst video I had ever seen in my life!!:hurl:

Whoever filmed this was an extreme amature. The guy couldn't hold still to save his life. Plus he kept zooming in and out constantly making it very irritating to watch.

I don't know who made this set. There was only labels on the disks for what park video is on each disk.

I will say this, some of it was funny. The video of the guy riding Splash Mountain is a good example. While watching the horrible zooming and fading in and out because of the darkness, I told my son "Bet ya he drops the camera when they go down the hill" and sure enough, just as they start down the waterfall, you suddenly get a large, dark view of the guys crotch.

Needless to say I was extremely dissapointed with this purchase, but at least it didn't cost $100. I hope no one else here was foolish enough like me to buy it!!

I have heard alot of people say the same as you that the quality is terrible,however for $9 I guess you should expect the worst.

I bought the Disneyland version that they also sell. The video was so shaky and amateur, it was almost like it was filmed in the middle of an earthquake! Also, the DVD authoring was terrible. None of the videos were labeled anywhere, just video_title_1, and none of the DVD discs were labeled either. Total waste of money. A monkey could do a better job. :dazzle:
