Any word on Stitch opening?

From what I could make out from the TTA on Sat., the ride looks trashed and nowhere near completion. All I could make out was a big mess in the first room, from above looking in the entrance.

Supposedly the actual chambers are much farther along. The preshow is being done last.

I'm a CM in Tommorowland and they just put the Stitch animatronic into the chamber a few days ago and from what I have seen the 1st pre-show and outside queue need a whole lot of work still. I'd say they might be finishing up in mid-june with late june early july previews. I haven't heard anything about when CMs are gonna start training so it looks like its still a ways away.

I'm going to be down there from August 22-29 2004. But if it's not ready then, I may use the free airline tickets I got off of a five hour JetBlue delay and my AP to go down in January so I can see it.:animwink:

It does make sense to do the PreShow area and Queues last, because they are probably the easiest to do.

Would they do soft openings or previews during E-Ride nights?

Here's hoping that they're doing them by the first week of July!
