Any word on rate hikes?

There is about a month left until the time WDW traditionally announces the rates for the next year. Does anyone have any idea about how much next years prices will rise? I did see on another board the DDP will make an increase.

Thanks!

Price hikes

Disney traditionally hikes ticket prices once, sometimes twice, a year. If prices are to be increased, Disney usually gives a couple of months notice. If I am traveling after the price increase and need tickets, I order from one of the reliable web companies before the price increase. Since we are going to visit the world in Aug. and Dec. this year (we needed tickets) I ordered 10 day, park hopper, non-expiration. We are disney veterns, and like park hop daily, we order the park hopper and non-expiration type. They are good for ever till used.:sohappy:

I actually used to work in ticket sales at WDW, and the price increases are not normally known by the front-line CMs until a couple of days until the increases happen, if that much notice.

I am sure they are going to raise them in the next month. It would be nice to have a year with no price hikes but everything is costing them as much as its costing us.

I just recently went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and got an amazing deal. To save on printing tickets, Anheuser-Busch was selling print-out-yourself tickets online for 7 consecutive days to BOTH Busch Gardens and Water Country USA (nearby water park) for $70!! If you buy those tickets at the park it's still only $80. You can't beat those prices!! I saw a lot of people with the print-out tickets when I was at the turnstiles. Nice move Busch!

Same deal you get at nearly any Six Flags or area amusement park.
Heck, I got my Six Flags New England ANNUAL pass for $59.99 this year.

Definitely curious to see what they will do regarding ticket prices. The Last few years have seen some pretty impressive hikes. It would be nice to see no increase but I doubt it.

Busch Gardens Africa has had the pay one day come back all year pass for a couple years.

With InBev raising its offer for AB no one will be getting a free case of bud for advertising the park

Does anyone know about the menu prices? When do they change them? I know with the cost of food going up, this will be increased as well. Don't you think?:lookaroun

Menu prices seem to move more or less continuously around the resort at different times. There isn't one big "bump" like there is for tickets or resort rooms.

I've noticed in the past that Deluxe hotels usually increase by about $10 whereas Values it's usually about $5.

Call me crazy

I would actually think this year may be different. Due to the fact that the economy isn't booming and people don't have the money to vacation, it maybe something similar but not as drastic as 9/11. Maybe rates will increase but I believe we may see some more package deals that would entice people to visit.
