Any updates on slinky’s tail?

I am a bit out of the loop. Why did they take every tail off? Is it a similar problem to the 'springs' that didn't hold up?

They took them off due to safety concerns.

That's what I was thinking. Is any children crying because the tail is off? I bet 90% of people will never notice.

Because some people at Disney still do stuff for no other reason than it looks cool. Doing this has given the parks details like the "Do not pull the rope" gag outside of Indy, the key under the mat at the Muppet theater and the Gossip Phone.

Unfortunately, not every "just because it is cool" ideas work in the real world.
