Any Universal-type attractions you'd like to see in WDW?

Walt Disney World is, by far, the superior theme park complex in Florida....but, admittedly, some of the attractions are a little lacking in comparison to some Universal Studios attractions. Are there any types of Universal attractions you'd like to see in WDW? I don't mean taking The Incredible Hulk coaster and plopping it down in Disney, just the type of ride itself.

Though Disney has Star Tours and Body Wars, I think Universal's Back to the Future attraction is much better and Disney might want to take some hints from that in either re-doing ST or BW or even adding a new attraction altogether. The Amazing Spider-Man, too....clearly one of the best rides I've ever ridden, and I have no doubt that an attraction of that sort, perhaps based on Indiana Jones or even Aladdin would do great in WDW. And....the Men in Black attraction at Universal is bigger and better than Buzz Lightyear in WDW.

Personally, I think a lot of non-Disney theme park attractions are deveoped from idea's spun off from current Disney attractions. Spiderman is kind of a combination of Indy, Star Tours, and all their 3D movies. MIB is a much more advanced Buzz. While I'm sure Disney would love to have their own version of Spiderman, I believe that they'll out-do it in the near future. I'd like to see MORE ground breaking attractions from Disney, rather than copies of existing attractions at other parks. I'm hoping that Mission Space is one of these groundbreakers.

I was thining, if they took an EMV, and put a big I-Max type screen, then programmed the EMV with ggod effects, added several scenes...wouldn't they have a Spider Man type ride?

Not really. Spider-man is a motion ride where you actually go through the ride and see actual things that aren't projected on the screen. I think it's a lot better than watching a movie in a shaking chair that's attched to a platform wich is bolted to the floor. I just think it's better to go through the ride cuz it's almost like actually experiencing the scenario that the ride is going through.

That's what Im talking about w/ an EMV. Just make a nice showroom with alot of realistic scenes. Spider does have manny screens, but there in 3-d. They could basicly do it w/ an EMV, I think.

I for one do NOT want a B&M coaster at a Disney park. Yes, they are capacity machines, BUT every park in the world seems to own one of them. And as solid of a ride they are, they are at the point of being very "vanilla bean". (almost the same thing over and over).

I for one do not even like Hulk. The ride itself is a total bore, aside from the launch. Dueling Dragons on the otehr hand is easily the superior ride. The queue, theming, and dueling aspects of the ride were done marvelously. Also, the track layout breaks tradition from the typical B&M offering you would get (can you say Hulk, any Batman ride at SF, Kraken). Disney was very smart to go with Intamin for California Screamin'.

I never understood why anyone likes BTTF. I went on it for the 1st time last December and easily dubbed it one of my Most Hated theme parks attractions (along with Twister). It was annoying (the pre show), violent (the ride), and boring. I have never wanted off a ride so much in my life. as soon as it started I was getting slammed backwards into the seat. I'm 6'2" 285 LBS, so I ain't no little fragile baby :)

While everyone clamors over the genius of IOA, the park is nothing more than a serious of "off the shelf" rides. Yes a bunch of them has nice "spins" on them, but still nothing too grandiose that you couldn't find at any SF park across the country. (although, admittidly USF/IOA is better mamanged and presented).

agreed, universal looks nice but most of the rides I can ride at any 6flaggs or hershey park. BTTF was a good ride but easially not the best. I liked twister but it was wayyyy to sort and not very indepth. MIB was errible. not enough targets hard to shoot, uncomfortible ride vheicles, Buzz is 10000 times better. ride is more comfortible and is fun not serious like MIB. I would take buzz over MIB anyday. the only ride or show I would love to see at disney is posidens fury and the makeup horrer show. universal can keep the rest. and if disney dose something like that it will be 10000 xtimes better.
