Any TAs out there who own their agency? Looking to do the same

Hey guys I am brand new to posting on this site and have just always been a lurker just reading everything you guys write. But i finally have a question!!

I am currently a TA for an agency and make great sales however i think it is time to move on to my own business. I have googled non stop trying to find what i need to do but cannot find anything except links on how to work for an already set up travel agency being an employee. I want to be independent with no bosses or employees working for me at the start but eventually be big enough to add hires.

How do you TAs who are owners do it? What steps and cirtifications would I need? A private message or post below would be nice.

I assume right off the start i will need an LLC or Corp business name registered with my state...but then what

Just a warning - be ready to learn accounting, finance, marketing, sales, human resources, seller of travel laws (depending on your state and where your clients live), and much more.
