I am ecstatic that Star Wars Weekends has been extended, since my family and I will get to see it now. Has anybody heard which celebrities (if any) will be there yet?

According to what I've seen, there will not be any celebrities or Star Wars Millionaire during the extended weekend. Everything else should be going on, however.

i would be willing to bet, that like last year, they didn't use all of the alotted budget for SWW, so they are "extending it."

last year, many of the SWW characters still roamed the parks for a few weeks, because if they didn't use up all the money, it would not roll-over for the next year, but just be 'lost'...

I would assume characters, Obi wannabe Jedi training, millionaire, trivia etc. Basically everything that did not directly involve the celebrities.

Thanks for the info! I will be there on the 24th. Do you know if they are still giving out fastpasses for the autographs outside of Star Tours, or has that changed? How early before the park opens do I need to be there in order to get an autograph fastpass. Thanks for your time!

I'm so happy! I've wanted to see Amy Allen at a convention for awhile, but this looks like the best opportunity I'll have! Hooray for extended Star Wars Weekends!! :sohappy:

If the last 3 weekends are any indication I would get there at least 1 hour before the park opens. Once you are into the park proceed to the rope blocking your entrance to the left side of the hat. When they drop the rope run don't walk past the ABC commissary and into the Star Wars Area. When we were there the weekend before last we took the normal route past they Indy Stunt show and the autograph fast pass line was already 300 people deep.

There is no need to run. We were there this past weekend, not an hour before opening but about 15 minutes before opening, and walked to the area ( making comments about the idiots - grown men and women - that were running) and we got a fastpass for Warwick Davis, no problem. I have been to SWW every year and have NEVER nor will I ever run to get to something and I have never been left out. People that act this way are what ruins it for everyone else.

I have been to SWW every year as well and this year has been nothing like the years in the past. Attendance is through the roof this year. I made the same comments about those people as well and those people got autographs while I was left standing in line when they ran out of fast passes.

Thanks for the tip! I will do a fast walk (no running for me!) past the ABC and try to get a fastpass! I am sorry that they ran out while you were in line. That has happened to me a some of the Nascar tracks. That stinks! Can't wait to get there, even if it is more crowded than usual!

Hopefully it won't be too crowded when you go. Every other year that I have been it has appeared as though very few people actually planned on going to SWW. This year it seems like every person that has ever seen a Star Wars movie made a pilgrimage to MGM.
