Any possibility for another 4/3 deal?

I've seen on the news a little here and there that "they" say the economy seems to be starting to recover, which would seem to make it unlikely for another 4/3 deal. But does anyone have any idea what kind of business Disney is projecting based on economic forecasts and if a 4/3 type deal may be realistic for next year? We didn't go in 2009, but I was thinking that the 2009 4/3 deal included April, the month that we always go. So I was hoping that they would release such an offer again for next year, around the same time frame.

Quite honestly it is anyone's guess at this point. It is certainly possible. The 4/3 deal was very successful in keeping the resorts and parks full but people were not spending money while in the parks. Disney might think that with a better economy that people will loosen the purse strings a bit if they get them to the parks again using the 4/3 deal.

When Disney last did a Buy 4 Get 3 Free promotion in fall 2003 (Fairytale Package) they followed it up the next year with a Buy 4 Get 2 Free....and this is when they were still feeling some effects of 9/11.

IMHO, if they were to offer something similar next year, it may be slightly less than what they offered this year....

Even so, two free nights would be around 400 bucks, so I wouldn't be able to complain about that. :D One other question; now that they charge a little higher for weekend nights, when they do such deals, do you pay for the first 4 nights, and then get the last 3 (or 2, or whatever as the case may be) for free regardless of whether they are weekday or weekend, or do you pay for the highest nights, with the free nights being the cheapest ones?

You pay for the first 4 nights and the rest are free.

They've been charging for certain weekends for 2 years now, they've just added a few more weekends in 2010....
