Any personal old stories from WDW in the 1970s or so?

I also remember visiting the old Disney Village and shopping around with Mom.
I was all of eight, and my Theme Park passion was already manifesting in unusual ways.
An example - my favorite souvenir of the 79' visit was this paper bag.

Absolutely loved the graphic art on it...and kept it for all these years.
Still really like the graphic.

I have a lot of these bags as well. These were extra souvenirs to me. I know Disney changes their bags from time time to time but the 1970s and into the 1980s the bags added an extra thing of magic.

I also remember when my dad held his annual conventions that there was an Empress Lilly / Liberty Belle / TTC ferryboat. We took a cruise one night that circled the lagoon between the backside of Contemporary to Fort Wilderness and around the old Discovery Island. Haven't seen that big paddleboat in ages.
