Any personal experience with Kouzzina?

I'm headin' to Kouzzina for Breakfast monday morning. The menu looks fantastic... the prices seem reasonable..

We're going the same reason everyone else does... its Cat Cora... and we've seen her on iron chef! (a lame reason... but a reason nonethless)

I've read the few reviews on this site... and mostly they are negative. Just wondering if that's the overall opinion.

I had breakfast there last November and the food and service were above average; I would eat breakfast there again.

I'm not sure I would go for dinner, as that menu looked a little bit more exotic for my tastes.

You do know Cat won't be there, right?

I ate there for breakfast just a few weeks after the change over and my family enjoyed it. It has a few choices not readily found in WDW so it was nice for a change. I have other breakfast faves that I prefer, but it is good overall.

Good to hear its enjoyable... and yeah, we know cat won't be anywhere near it... but its one of those things... she's a famous tv chef... and we've never gone to a tv chef's restaurant.

cat might be there... you never know. Chances are she wont be but it doesnt hurt to hope! My husband and I met her in the Boardwalk Lobby two years ago!

Cat actually hosted a special lunch for Tables in Wonderland members yesterday, 30 June. My wife and I were thinking about trying to get down for it, but whole Wednesday thing killed it for us.

I did not have breakfast there, but from what I hear it is the better of the meals to have at Kouzzina. I had dinner there in January, and I thought it was ok. The food was decent, but besides for the Calamari (possibly the best I have ever tried) there was nothing that is pulling me back to the restaurant.

kouzzina service

Had terrible service. Our waitress made a big stink because my daughter didn't want tomatoes on her greek salad. Didn't leave a tip and won't go back.

Although I can't speak about the quality of their breakfast menu, I can tell you that we enjoyed their dinner offerings. We had great service and good quality food. Not outstanding, but worth going back IMHO.

DH and I went there in July for breakfast and both loved it. We are staying at BW in Sept. and plan on going to Kouzzina for breakfast a couple of times because we enjoyed it so much. We had good service when we were there - we had a food allergy in our group and both the server and the chef were very helpful and accommodating.
