any news on the Haunted Mansion update?

I heard they updated the Haunted Mansion and that it's supposed to be "Less family friendly" so, what's the word on that?

No changes yet. The changes are to occur within a few months and ready around the same time POTC opens up again. :wave:

Thanks. I've been hearing people compain about these changes and other than the simple fact that Disney park fans seem to fear change, I see nothing wrong with this idea and GREATLY welcome it.

I hopped on HM a few weeks ago just a few days after it came out of rehab and noticed something I didn't recall from my last ride in 2002. How long as Madame Leota's crystal ball been floating around the room? I recall it being static on the table like the WDW verison.

They intalled the new floating Madame Leota effect at least a year ago, maybe it's been two years already?
