Any news on POFQ refurb?

So excited to finally see this! We have an upcoming stay so I’m just curious, what view(s) generally seems to be the renovated rooms?

Has the timeline changed? I know originally they said it would only run from April 2024- November 2024. Seems like they’d have more done if it was going to be finished by November!

Going in November and requested to stay in one of these refurbs. I think it looks fantastic!

We haven’t done the ride ourselves but seeing the horses, and hearing the clip clop of their hooves, is one of the things we love about FQ. Same is true of the Sasagaula River boats and their horns, it’s amazing how much the sights and sounds impact the feeling of a resort.

Just got back from a week at Gran Destino. Loved it. It feels like a deluxe resort - minus the balcony - but at a moderate rate. Great vibe. The restaurant out on the lake was a favorite of ours. Great food and beautiful views. You can see the Epcot fireworks from there as well. I've been spoiled by Yacht and Beach for many years and the accessibility to the parks, but using the busses for a week wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

My wife and I have looked at that before. It looks very nice.

Does anyone have updates on the Refurb at POFQ? We went there for dinner one night last week and there seems to be a lot of construction equipment around. We have rezzies for Thanksgiving week.

My understanding is building 1 is renovated and open and that building 2 should be open any day. They are currently working on building 3 and I think took down building 4 (or will be soon). Rumors are they won’t be done by the end of the year with all buildings. Likely early 2025. But no one knows for sure of course.

Thanks so much @jennab55 !!! Our Fav Bldgs are 5, 6, &7. It’s a really large project for sure. Do you know if the boats are back running to Disney Springs?

We are here now. Our reservations were for building 4. That is now down and when we arrived we were moved to building 5. Got no notifications prior to check in .
The boats to DS were running at first and then went down because the water levels rose enough that the boats couldn’t get under the bridges. After a time the boats were running again and that may change again.
