Any Last Minute Thoughts?

So I have 23 days and counting (yay!) till my trip down to WDW with my friend – we’re down there from the 27th of this month until the 6th on January. Yes, we must be insane to have wanted to be down there for New Year’s, but it will be my first time down there for an actual holiday (the last two times I’ve visited, I’ve left the day before Thanksgiving) and I keep prepping myself for the insane crowds to come and trying to not worry about the flight down or lost luggage. And we’ve already down all our ADRs – one for every night there (I figure they are at least there to use if we wish).

Other than that, I just wanted to see if anyone has any last minute sort of reminders on what to bring maybe as far as weather during the end of December down there (though I'm from up north, so anything will be nicer than the weather here), what to expect as far as holidays are concerned, any inside tidbits or personal FYIs from anyone that has been down there during that time, etc etc.

Get up early and start touring. Take a nap mid day. Avoid the EMH like the plague. That is where all the lemings tend to go.

Which do you think would be worse, morning EMH or evening? I was trying to plan around going to all the evening EMHs during our next trip because I loved the parks at night last time I went. But if it's really horrible, I'll deal with going to the others instead.

When you get on a line for a ride send the other person to get the next Fast Pass-by the time you get off the ride you could then go and get the next Fast Pass already since the lines will be long. Since there are only 2 of you, do the single rider line and you'll get on quicker!
