We're from NJ where your hole-in-the-wall pizza place sets the standards fairly high for Italian food anywhere else in the country. We love Mama Melrose's and usually make a point to eat there once a trip or every other trip. In terms of dining experience, it's much cozier than Via Napoli but less upscale than Hollywood Brown Derby. As others have said, the pizza smell in that corner of the park really permeates the rest of the area, so to this day I always associate the wood-fired pizza oven smell with MM.
