Any favorites outside the parks?!!

We will be going to Orlando for a quick trip in September, and will not be making it inside the parks. (We just had a full week in April) I have already made some reservations to our favorite hotel restaurants, and of course will be doing Downtown Disney; but does anyone have any suggestions of things they like to do outside the Kingdom? I am desperate for my Disney fix!!!!

How about Fantasia Gardens golf; or go to the Boardwalk in your car, then take a Friendship ride; or go 'resort hopping' for shops and meals; or visit AKL to see the animals on the Savannahs etc, etc,etc!! enjoy yourself :wave:

Ride the boat from Downtown Disney to POR. It's a nice relaxing trip with nice scenery along the way. And sometimes very entertaining, depending on the captain.

And if you do this in the evening, be sure and listen to the piano player in the lounge at POR. You could pass a few hours just being entertained.

I enjoy going to the different resorts. Take the boat from Magic Kingdom and visit the Polynesian and Grand Floridian at night. It was beautiful when I did it.

Enjoy a carriage ride at Port Orleans.

Walk around the resorts, they are all STUNNING!!!

The Boardwalk is nice but I did not really enjoy it when I went. It was raining so a lot of the activities was not going on. It was boring.

Fort Wilderness is nice as well - petting farm, trails.

Oh my gosh...I couldn't get that close to the parks and not go...wow, that takes willpower!!!
