Any Contemporary DVC updates??

Has anyone heard any new rumors or updates on what is happening at the Contemporary? I know nothing has been confirmed (regarding DVC), but what's happening on the grounds where the garden rooms used to be? Any new pics?

Right now they have built a little paved parking lot and the main shape of the building is visible with some very minor verticle contruction. Elevator shafts and such are starting to emerge.

It's exactly the C-shaped building as seen in concept art.

Edit to add: Inside the Contemporary itself the 4th floor has started it's overhaul to the new store with those nifty trees (not yet installed), and they're ripping out the black/grey stone floor. The front desk is being worked on too right now.

Any timeframe on the interior work? We are considering going in Dec of next year and possibly staying there. I don't think we would mind construction outside the resort. However, construction in the resort might be annoying.

The work permit says it's DVC

Its DVC. They haven't officially announced it, but its DVC. They will sell as much of AKL DVC as they can before the announcement.

They do have construction walls up between Game Station and BVG for the new gift shop area, and they have concept art up for what's going there. There is also concept art on the construction walls in the lobby. More construction walls went up today next to the Outer Rim for what I'm pretty sure will be the temporary counter-service area.
