If you're a CP for WDW, can you book a trip to the other Disney resorts around the world for cheaper?

Also, I leave Jan 4th to come back home... can I book a trip for March and get the room discount if I book before I leave?

I don't know the answer to the first one, but you need to be a current CM to get the resort discounts. That's because you show your ID at check-in.

Just went on the site today, and there is a Special to book Disneyland (CA) for 60% off, so my theory is that they have diffrent discounts throughout the year. I would love to get my Disneyland Paris groove on! hint hint wink wink!

I thought you didn't have to show your ID at check in? I know I'm gonna have some friends/family coming to visit me... what if I'm working and they try to check in while I'm working?

You have to show your ID when you check them in atleast 10 days prior to arrival, otherwise when they check in they will loose the discount and be charged the full rate. You do not have to be present to check them in as long as the reservation was made in one of their names.

This is correct. You can stop by whichever resort they are staying at 24 hours a day, up to 10 (14 at some resorts) days in advance and show your ID. Never heard back from you, how was Grad Nite? I'm assuming Michael got you all taken care of with your ticket?

I would love to do this!! How hard is it to become a campus rep? I'm at a community college now and plan to transfer to Virginia Tech this spring after the DCP, so I would be a campus rep at Tech. What is the process involved with this?

I sent you a PM! Thanks again!!!

Thanks! I applied for it back around April, and just found out a couple of days ago. And since this was my 2nd time applying (they didn't need anyone last time) I am just thrilled!

Sure, I will try to explain it to you. After you do they CP once, you are able to apply to be a campus rep. On the main website (www.wdwcollegeprogram.com) there is a tab for alumni. And on that page there is a part that says campus reps. There will be 2 days for applying- one date for the fall semester, and one for the spring (on the website it lists Nov.1 for the Spring semester, and April 1 for the Fall program). When the application is received, you will get an email saying it was received. I think I will put the process listed by the website here:
To apply for the Campus Representative role, please complete the application form below and compose a cover letter describing your interest in the position and why you would be a good fit for the role. It is important to remember that we typically hire Campus Reps one semester ahead of the actual work period for a Campus Rep.
Therefore, it is best to submit an application:
  • By November 1, if applying to work as a Campus Rep for the Spring recruiting season.
  • By April 1, if applying to work as a Campus Rep for the Fall recruiting season.
Once we receive your application, you will receive notification via e-mail. If there is a Campus Representative role available at the school in which you are enrolled, your application will be forwarded to a Disney College Program Recruiter for further review. At that time, you may be contacted by a recruiter for an interview. You will typically be notified of a decision at least three weeks prior to the start of the next recruiting season. If it is determined that there is NOT a role available at your school at the time you submit your application, and you meet the requirements for the role, your application will be placed in a pool for future consideration. Campus Reps are selected on an on-going basis and are evaluated by a Disney College Program Recruiter throughout the recruiting season. Current Campus Reps may continue for the next recruiting semester at the discretion of their recruiter.

I hope this makes sense.

Oh alright, thanks a lot!! I'm definitely going to give this a try!
