Going to Skool. Disney Channel has ordered 21 episodes of Emperor's New Skool, a new animated series for 2006 based on the Disney animated film The Emperor's New Groove, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In the series, dethroned emperor Kuzco enters the Incan public school system and must pass all his classes and foil Yzma and Kronk's schemes in order to reclaim his throne.

I wonder how will do the voice of kuzco.....

*sigh* I love that movie, but this plotline just sounds... well, flat out bad. I really hope it doesn't end up being really lame.

I'llwatch it just for Kronk, though, so long as Patrick Warburton comes back.

Emporer's was a hilarious movie. Just not a Disney classic by any means in my book. Still, laugh-out-loud.

If this thing doesn't look cheap, I'll watch an episode and see how funny it is.

Still can't stand this sequel crap. It'll probably make me end up disliking the movie; kinda like what happened with me and Stitch.

I think they'll kill it by putting it on TV. I hope not. The best part of the movie for me was the humor of David Spade. I won't like it as much if someone else does it and/or they end up making him more rude than sarcastic. Spade had a way of keeping the fine line from being blurred.

I hope all the original voices are in it. That's what made it so funny...they had great actors.

I did see that!! It's on my Christmas list!

One of my friends at SeaWorld at work this weekend went out on set in a penguin costume... he's 6"+ too tall to be in it. The even funnier thing is that it was the girl penguin, Penny. HUGE. SCARY. GIRL. PENGUIN. Needless to say, we were quoting Billy Madison all afternoon after that.
