Hello all! I am currently in contact with Universal and I would like to gather some statistics about the park music from Islands of Adventure.

What is your favorite music from the park?

What music would you like to see on a future CD release from the park?

How much would you pay for it?

Thank You all and Take Care!

I would buy a release even if it had duplicate music from the original release, considering the previous is discontinued. I was hoping for some master tracks (without vocal audio) for the rides in the park.

Personally, I think a dual-park release would be more appealing and more profitable, as it would cover more than just Islands of Adventure. Revenge of the Mummy, The Simpsons Ride and Terminator all have great master tracks that would be perfect for a park audio collector with interest in Universal. Just my thoughts...

Unfortunately I can't see a dual-park soundtrack ever occurring due to the amount of music played in the Studios that isn't actually owned by Universal (Men in Black, Shrek, The Simpsons, the list goes on...) Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE any sort of soundtrack like that and would buy it instantly regardless of the price... I happen to have the original Islands of Adventure soundtrack (which I snagged before it was discontinued). They should at least make another Islands soundtrack with additional tracks (there's a ton of Marvel, Lagoon, Jurassic, Port, and Seuss music that never made it onto the first CD). A Potter music deal could probably easily be worked out as well to include in the CD (seeing as it's just one company compared to up to a dozen like at the Studios). Hell, even a reprint of the old CD would be great, I know there are tons of people out there who would be willing to buy it.

I love some of the IoA tracks. I even just added some to my phone as ringtones. I agree though, most of the music around USF is from movie soundtracks, so I am not sure if the would ever do anything with it.

Most of the tracks I would want from IoA were already released, so I don't know if I would pay for a future set. I can imagine there could be a new set once the WWoHP music is produced, but even that I expect to be at least similar to the movie soundtracks.

I have the original IOA cd so I don't know if I would buy another one, but I definitely think they should always have a cd in the park. It took me a lot of work to find a copy of the original cd since it was sold out. I'd have much rather given Universal the money than someone on ebay.

I would love to have a cd from either of the parks as I missed the original soundtrack by a few weeks. I do think a Universal Orlando cd would be very cool but I know it probably is not feesable.

I said no but only because I wouldn't listen to it casually as the songs aren't to my taste. This isn't just IOA but pretty much any park (even the Disney ones!). The songs work great on location to add to the atmosphere but that's where it ends for me.

More questions for all of you!

1. how many new, previously unreleased tracks would you like to see on the new CD?

2. How many total tracks would you like to have on the CD?

3. How much music do you want from each attraction?

4. Would you like previously released music tracks on this new CD with unreleased music contained in them?

and finally,

5. would you like a 1 or 2-disc set, released?

Take Care, All !

I just want to hear the actual queue music for the Hulk coaster. The track on the original CD is played outside of the attraction, not in the queue.

I want the amazing Port of Entry music that wasn't on the first release. It's probably the most common theme played and I couldn't believe it wasn't on the first soundtrack!

1. how many new, previously unreleased tracks would you like to see on the new CD?

If it's a whole new release, at least 14. If it's a re-release, at least 5.

2. How many total tracks would you like to have on the CD?

14+ is a good number.

3. How much music do you want from each attraction?

Doesn't matter.

4. Would you like previously released music tracks on this new CD with unreleased music contained in them?

and finally,

5. would you like a 1 or 2-disc set, released?

There should be a 1-disc and 2-disc, honestly. I think 1 disc would be enough though.
