(Another) FP+ Question

I've been trying really hard to keep up with the many discussion threads here about FP+ but I still have one question I can't find an answer to. It seems like 3 FP+ per day for one park is everyone's guess right now. So if I preselect 3 from home before coming to say MK, can I also get others in the park that day? Or is 3 my limit regardless of whether I preselect them or get them the day of? Also, if I preselect 3 for MK and use them in the morning/ afternoon, can I then go to DHS that night and get one for ToT? Or will the walk up FP be completely eliminated?

Good question. I was wondering what happen if you "hopped" to another park. Do you get 3 per park or just 3 for the day?

From reading the other threads/news sources/etc, this is what I can decipher. You can get three per day in one park. It doesn't appear as if you could in theory get twelve (if you hopped to all four). Also, if you are using FP+, then FP- is now off the table and you would be subject to the normal standby lines. From the material provided, if you use FP- you cannot use FP+ and vice versa. Again, that is only from what I can gather and not subject to the laws of physics. It is however subject to change. Although, I don't really know if it can change as its not even officially out there yet.

Thank you everyone! No answer is better than an answer I'm not going to like ) I like the idea of getting FP from home but I'm hoping we can still get them in the park that day as well!

To know where I'm coming from I'll be the first to admit I still hate that they started enforcing the end times on the paper fps so I just can't imagine only 3fp's per day. REALLY hoping it's maybe a limit of 3 you can book in advance of your trip kind of thing. I understand they wouldn't want, for example, a family of 4 booking a fp every hour taking up those spots and being a no show but 3 a day is barely worth having at this point. If 3/day ends up the rule it will really make me think twice about what time of year I visit. It just wouldn't be worth going during regular, peak, or holiday times.

In the latest allears newsletter someone said they tested FP+ and had their 3 pre-booked FPs plus could get "regular" FPs for other rides...

That is during testing. Disney has said once it goes live it's one or the other.
