Hi,
We are looking into AP's so we can get discounts on a room. The problem is my husband can't find any for September. Does anyone know if they usually have any for then and where can I find a list of AP discounted times? Thanks!

AP discounts for September have not yet been released. They are usually announced 1-3 months in advance. You may book your room at regular rate & then call and have discount applied once it is announced or choose to wait. I've done the former a number of times without a problemMousesavers.com is a great place to find all room discount codes and rates. Only the person that books the room need have an AP to get the discount.

You have to keep trying even after the dates are posted we are going from June 16th till the 26th at the Pop Century and could only get the rate for the first 7 days so we booked Music for the final days then kept trying and 3 weeks ago got the rest of the days at Pop Century. Rooms are booked and people cancel so they open back up.

bidnow5 is EXACTLY correct. To have a discount applied you may have to be persistent in your calling. Call daily if need be, off-prime hours to reduce wait time. Keep trying and you will be successful.

I've been an AP for about five years now. The best advice I can give you is to book your room now to make sure you have it, and keep an eye on this site for the date the AP discounts are posted. You can then call and ask for the AP discount, and Disney will apply it to your reservation. This has worked for me without fail.

Related question...

I'm looking in to buying an AP for my trips this December and March.

I read that often times AP room discounts aren't given during "peak" times...

My family will be going the week before Christmas....

From previous years, could anyone tell me if I'm likely to get a discount at this time of year?

I know they won't be out for awhile, but I'd like to have an idea ahead of time...thanks!

They did offer AP discounts on rooms last year for stays the week before Christmas. That is what got me looking at my daughters school calendar for 2004-2005 to see when her break for Christmas started.

I'm crossing my fingers that they will make that same offer this year as well!
