Annual Passes/Free Dining

Hi All,

I'm planning on a vacation for either 7 or ten days in October next year for halloween. In 2009 we will be coming for 14 nights in September.

Working out theme park ticket prices it makes sense to get an annual pass which will save us around $140 each.

However if we take the annual pass, assuming the free dining is still available in 2009, would we be eligable for this or do you have to buy tickets for the number of days you stay to qualify.

To be eligible for free dining, you would:

- need to book a MYW package, not room only with AP discount
- need to each purchase at minimum a single day base ticket

The single day base ticket can be applied towards a new annual pass, I believe.

In August I had free dining. I was at Pop and bought one-day base tickets for DS and myself in order to qualify for DDP. You can use the one-day tickets after the APs expire or use them for credit towards renewing in person.

It was great having free dining and I also managed to use my DDE discount on anything not covered by DDP.

All you have to do as an AP is go ahead and book the Dine Package and purchase a one day base ticket for each member in your party. You will be on the dine plan for your entire stay. You must buy at least a 1 day ticket for the package.
