Annual Pass Prices

Hi Folks,

I just need to know the price of an annual pass for WDW and what benefits they give. I am from the UK, so FL resident passes do not apply for me.

A 10 Day World Hooper from here costs £199 at the moment (approx $350), but I understand an annual pass is somewhere around that price region, but offers discounts and some other benefits.

I leave in a week and a half, so really need to decide what I am going to do.

Thanks in advance!

Another benefit of APs is that you get discounts on lodging. If you are staying on property this is worth looking into. It can save you a lot. You can have the discount applied to an existing reservation. If you are staying at a WDW resort, you already are getting free parking. You also get discounts on dining car rental form Alamo & National, tours and 10% off everything at the Disney Store @ Downtown. Check out mousesavers.com for a list of codes and discounts.

Re: passes

If you get the 10 day pass (which can only be purchased in the U.K.)
you must remember that it expires 20 days after the first use; whereas
with an annual pass ,if you work out your holiday dates you can use it for
two years, eg last year we went at the end of July and this year we are going at the beginning of July. With the 10 day you do get a free character
breakfast which is a good deal.

AP's are the way to go, especially if you are staying on-site.

While the normal "value" of an AP needs 8 park days to make it worth while on it's own, the lodging discounts can really add up fast as well.

Even staying at an All-Star resort you can save at least $30/night - between that and the other discounts my AP paid for itself within five days.

Since you live in the UK, you'd really have to decide if you'll be coming back again in the next year (which would make it REALLY worth it), but even if not it still may be the best value for you.

My favorite thing about AP's is that as soon as I get on property I can drop my bags and hit a park - even if it's late - because I don't feel like I am "wasting" a day of admission. Same goes for departure day - lots of times I've had a 3-4PM flight and been able to spend a great morning touring the parks guilt-free.
