Annual pass holders appreciation day

What kind of things could Disney do to appreciate their loyal annual pass holders?
Could they do a Disney after hours version for us once a quarter? Of course at no extra charge.
SERIOUSLY ! Did you ever hear "You get nothing for nothing" Disney is so tight that they squeak when they walk.
As a DVC member I've thought the same as you, when you see some of the "offers" non members can cash in on I thought well why not us ? well I've given up, they got my money and will be getting more after every visit. But you know what I've gotten older and I don't sweat the small stuff anymore and after all how long can you be ed at MICKEY.

The thing about the DVC after-hours events is that their entire purpose is to sell additional timeshares. Thus, I don't see the value in having that for AP holders as they don't really need to market them in the same manner. In fact, I'd venture to say that they don't really want more than they have as it is.

When I've done the math, DVC owners always come out ahead in the long run vs general public offers.

you gave up caring about extras because you never got any so now you just continue to spend money without concerning yourself about it?

Perks for Passholders? There are plenty, like waiting in an AP line to enter a park that is usually 3-4 times longer than the other lines. The persons with no perks whatsoever now are Disney stockholders, unless you consider the honor of buying a frameable stock certificate for over $100 a perk. DW and I have been APs for 12 years now and we’ve gotten more perks at SeaWorld as passholders in one year in comparison to WDW.

Once, I saw Disney was doing a survey for annual passholders like me--I forget what site it was on, but it was official. They wanted to know what perks we'd be interested in. One of the potential ones was resort pool access even if you're not staying there. Now that would be cool!
Also, I think this thread has gotten way off course by this philosophical debate of whether annual passholders actually deserve any perks.

Please no more extra hours for special groups.

If there is such pent up demand for extra operating hours, then perhaps WDW ought to, shock, simply consider longer operating hours. Rather than monetizing customer discontent.

Actually from my experience they will let people in your party enter with u if ur an AP holder. Did for us.

And no separate lounges or preferential treatment either. I even find my special AP entrance off-putting. My non-AP fellow guests needn't wait in a longer line. Disney isn't the place for tiered experiences.
