Annual Dues credit

At the DVC Annual Meeting today it was announced that a credit will be issued for the 2020 annual dues, which will be deducted from the 2021 annual dues.

The amount of the credits per point are:

Aulani $1.67
AKV $.91
BLT $.81
BCV $.81
BWV $.70
BRV $.82
CCV $.87
GCV $1.54
GFV $.81
HHI $.75
OKW $.81
PVB $.68
RR $1.70
SSR $.86
VB $.25

A couple of points about these credits:

These are for the resort closures in 2020.

They will be shown a s a deduction when they issue the 2021 annual dues statements.

Therefore it seems as if anyone who bought a resale contract in 2020 will get the credit. The seller will not receive the credit, even if they paid the 2020 dues. Although this hasn’t been confirmed, it is what happens in respect of credits for property tax refunds etc. so not unexpected (although this particular type of credit is unprecedented).

That's good news. I'll certainly never complain about getting a credit back on dues.
