What do you do that keeps you from talking at all about your personal lives. No matter what job I've had, I've always been able to make friends where I work. My husbands is friends with his boss and coworkers on FB and they talk and hang outside of work. You spend 40+ hours a week with these people...more time with them than your family...maybe you should try making friends with em ;)
Sorry. Some people have jobs where a lack of focus can be detrimental to others.

Closer to the trip I really have to try and rein it in my incessant talk about Disney, my home resort/parks in general. It's hard, but I try. I do have a work colleague who loves Disney as much as I do and she's the one that comes asking for details, with her I can talk Disney till I'm blue in the face and she won't mind!

Congrats on your upcoming vacay!:)
No one at my work is interested in my Disney escapades! I just keep it to myself. I used to talk about it, but now I don't. It's like, " You're going to Disney again? Why? How can you afford it?" Now that's annoying!
I was told to shut up about Disney by someone at work yesterday. Someone mentioned the 6 Flags safari so I tried to see how it compared to AK's. Someone else then said I need to stop trying to compare everything to Disney. I think I might talk about it even more when that guy is around now.

I too travel to Disney every year from the UK. I think everyone I work with is used to it and actually likes the passion I have for it. Most people who book come to me for advice and everyone asks me how many days I have until my next trip. My watch is on Disney time and the CD's in the car are all Disney. In fact I think everyone would be more concerned if I didn't have my Disney trip planned. I look forward to your trip report. Have a magical time

I don't talk too much about up coming trips because we go quite often and my friends always say must be nice to afford all those trips. We scrimp and save like crazy cause we are Disney freaks.

I'm exactly the same, from the uk, and staying 16 days too!! I have the countdown on my desktop, all my calendars, everyday I'm looking at things online to do with Disney world, and every few hours I'll tell my boyfriend how excited I am. Sometimes I do a little dance when I'm on my own haha.
ONLY 38 DAYS 15 HOURS 3 MINUTES AND 45 SECONDS

I've never been before only once to Paris we went for two days, 10 years ago when I was 11. and I think it makes it even more exciting that we'll be taking our 3 year old with us! and she is Minnie Mouse and Princess MAD!!
I had an "I'm going to Disney" dance before I went! My cousin still does it sometimes because it cracked her up

I only work with my husband...so if I annoy him about my disney excitement, oh well! I didnt talk about it to much leading up to it. Just a bit to my sister and parents and a couple close friends. We just got back on Sunday and I maaaay have annoyed some of my friends on Instagram, I posted a few pictures each day. I figure if anyone does not want to see them, they can scroll by them quickly, or unfollow me for all I care!

Yeah, i sometimes feel like i can't even mention it. Everyone at my part time job kind of makes fun of me (not in a nice way either) about how many times i've been to Florida, but not to sound like a brat/boasting...but i think it's just jealousy. A lot of them have never been to anywhere like that and i thin they think i;m boasting, but really i just want to talk about how good it was :/

...It's always great when you find another Disney/Florida/America nerd though! I love America, so when i find someone who loves it as much as me, i don't shut up! :D

Not so much friends and colleagues.....I annoy my kids! They think I'm nuts with my countdown widgets and excel spreadsheets of our itinerary. The worst is when I KNOW they're in bad moods or just waking up in the morning and I start singing "Grim Grinning Ghosts."

I walk, talk, breath, sleep, eat, and everything else in between DISNEY. I recently have found that I will work DVC into any conversation and how it would benefit us and so on. So much that my fiancee has come out and said "Hun, you don't need to continue selling me on it.. I'm sold". But I just can't help it. I find myself a lot of times listening to people ramble on and I am there thinking of Disney and then I try to find a way to work what I am thinking about into the conversation so we can talk about something I am interested in. I took my Fiancee and her DD to WDW last year for their first trips and well they were hooked the moment they saw the castle. My co workers hear me talk it all the time, many have said how can you go year after year. One lady commented she went to DL and thats all she ever needed. She saw it all in a day and would be bored going back. I corrected her and said DL alone would fit in the parking lot of the MK and that WDW is HUGE and I have been over a dozen times and still have yet to see it all. Some people just don't get it and I don't expect them to but IMO they are really missing out on great experiences. Other co workers come to me for advice on their trips. I have even typed up a quick guide for the average vacationer so they have some pointers on which rides to FP and not, what times to do what. Just things I have picked up as they years have gone on that make our vacation more pleasurable that the occasional guest that goes every 5-10 years might not know. I love it. Want to be part of DVC and maybe even one day work for a Disney Related travel agent.

i try not to annoy the people that I know that do not like wdw. I know, hard to believe there are people out there that do not like wdw.... so, I make up for it by talking to those that do enjoy it. especially my boss. he geeks out on wdw as much as I do. he is excited that i'm leaving here in a few days to go on my trip. I have to send him pics of the new fantasyland while i'm there. he wants to live vicariously through me...
