Annoucer's name on Monorail

Hi Disney all knowing crew,
I was just looking at the new monorail t-shirts and was wondering (I work at a tv station) who does the narration or voice overs when you are riding the monorail? I can almost hear his voice right now.

If you are referring to the one that has been used for a good few years it's Joe Hursch.


The Most recent version is voiced by voice actor Tom Kane.

Before Joe was Matt Hansen, and I was kinda disappointed when they made that switch in '04. But I eventually warmed up to that change. Not too crazy about Tom Kane.

Tom sounds closer to Matt than Joe. Joe's spiels were too fast and not that engaging.

What I found funny was I was at Party City recently and a familiar voice came on the PA For a Party city Halloween ad came on. It was Joe! His dialogue sounded just like the monorail as he was jumping too quickly..But, the funny part was when he mention for kids and families to dress up as there favorite Disney characters It literally sounded like being on the Disney Transportation bus when he says it..LOL.
