This is a great problem to have.

It turns out we will be in The World during Hubby and my anniversary, and I get plan our date night! But I have no idea which restaurant to choose! Help!

Any park, any resort, where would you celebrate?

I'm dealing with a picky eater, so nothing too exotic.

And GO!

For a special occasion such as this, I'd go to California Grill and end the evening with a tour of the monorail resorts and fireworks!

Menu isn't too exotic, just delectable. :p It's ever-changing though, so keep that in mind.

I'll second California Grill as the food is always very good and the views are great. Also there is the Flying Fish at the Boardwalk that has great food as well and walking around the Boardwalk is very nice.

Okay....my top three..
1. California Grille...try to get reservation during or around the time fireworks will be happening at Magic Kingdom..Magical
2. Jiko's in Animal Kingdom Lodge...food was amazing! Atmosphere is really good too!
3. Yachtman's Steakhouse....
4. Narcoossee at the Grand Floridian....you can also see fireworks from the Magic Kingdom

Enjoy....Happy Anniversary!

I agree with the Califronia Grill recommendations, especially if you can time it before or during the fireworks. (Even if you eat a few hours before, your CG receipt gets you entrance to the fireworks observation area later if you want to return and enjoy the fireworks view.)

If the Anniversary was a milestone one and money was no object, I'd vote for Victoria & Albert's. My DH and I just celebrated our 15th Anniversary (with an exchange of greeting cards and a quiet evening at home with the kids -- we were leaving to tour Scotland four days later and decided that was enough of a "to-do" to be a de facto Anniversary trip), but I'm already been dropping hints about V&A's for our 20th, since it will require a bit of "saving up" ahead of time... :)

With a picky eater, I'll throw another recommendation for California Grill. They have a pretty tame menu, but it's also a nice place.

I also really enjoyed Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. One of my favorite meals on property so far!

Thanks for the input!
Your anniversary dinner at Victoria & Albert's looked so lovely! I don't think I'll ever eat there, so thanks for the peek behind the curtain!

Time to study menus!

And thank you!

A trip to Scotland is way better than flowers or jewelry or whatever! Who needs "stuff" anyway?

This won't be a milestone year, but fireworks goes well with any number!

We have celebrated a few anniversaries in the disney bubble. We are very moderate people, so our taste may vary.
1. (2010)Ohana...first time there and they sat us so we could view the fireworks. We stuffed ourselves and kind of ruined the rest of the night we had planned we were rookies.
2. (2011) The Turf Club....was very nice and then we walked to DS and had a relaxing evening. This was nice as we did not have passes yet and stayed at POR and took the boat.
3. (2012) The Colombian House...we did the Keyes to the Kingdom tour as our gift to each other. One of the best anniv still! Our lunch was included, and our guide got the whole group to do something special during lunch.
4. (2016) Le Celliar...fantastic. Great food and atmosphere.

Try something you may never do again. Get the last reservation in France at Monsieur Paul. Go family style in Germany and hopefully sit with a fun family. Sneak a bottle of bubbly on the Poly beach at night and enjoy the views. Whatever it is, make it yours.

California Grill for the win!
It was my first instinct, but I haven't done signature dining before, and I wanted to be sure I want overlooking something.

Thanks for all your help!

We celebrated our 30th anniversary at Artist Point. It was the absolute best in terms of food, service, ambiance, I just can't say enough good about it. From the time the manager greeted us at check in and escorted us to our table where our complimentary champagne toast and personalized menus waited, the whole experience was perfect. And since we'd eloped 30 years beforehand, this was my magical reception dinner.

We did our 40th anniversary in May an 8 day stay and did our anniversary dinner at Jiko it was amazing. My wife considers me a picky eater may be she is correct but there was nothing I ordered that I disliked. Had the flat breads with goat butter (great), squash soup (great), and Elk, tasted nothing like what I thought it would melt in your mouth, more like beef. CM server was exceptional,

Sounds like a wonderful celebration!

We've decided against Artist's Point, but only because we spent our last anniversary in Yosemite National Park. We stayed at Yosemite Valley Lodge, and had our anniversary dinner with a view of the falls. It was breathtaking!
