Anniversary Dinner Plans & Tranpartation

Ok, I'm trying to make plans to get around and still enjoy an anniversary dinner- please help with suggestions! We'll go back to our room in the Pop Century Resort to change, then I was thinking of going to Le Cellier in Canada for dinner. But how to best get there? I can take the bus to the front of Epcot and go all the way across everything and die... But is there a way to get to maybe the Epoct resorts and walk in the back door to the World area? Any suggestions?

If you are set on Le Cellier, book late (around 9pm)...use the bus.

The walk out after dinner will be worth it.

Unfortunately there is no direct way to get from Pop to the Epcot resorts via disney transportation. The quickest and most reliable way is to take a taxi. I suppose you could technically take a bus to DTD or one of the parks, then catch another to one of the resorts, but it would be quicker to just bus to Epcot and walk. If you have plenty of time you could bus to DHS, then ride the boat to BC/YC - that would save walking but I'd allow at least 1.5 hours.

You are going to have to allow some time for this, but I would take a bus to DHS and then take the boat from there to Epcot. That will put you right at the International Gateway entrance. Boat rides are definitely more romantic than buses. If you end up being really early, you could spend some time in the countries or on the boardwalk.

This is an excellent idea.

Having spent a great number of anniversaries at WDW, I would encourage you @Barry McAlister to consider some of the resort restaurants. We have enjoyed several fantastic anniversary meals at the Yachtsman Steakhouse, and this transportation plan works to get there, too. Also, last year we ate at Il Mulino at the Swan, and had a fabulous meal with outstanding service.

Not taking anything away from the service in the parks restaurants (and LeCellier in particular, always had very good service there), but because the resort restaurants are a little less hurried, I feel like the waitstaff have the opportunity to be a bit more attentive--during our last meal at Yachtsman, one of our servers noticed that we were savoring our appetizers (i.e., we were caught up talking and were eating slowly!) and she stopped to tell us that she'd asked the kitchen to slow down the preparation of our dinners to give us time to finish the first course. I was impressed.

If you timed your reservation early enough, you could still stroll into Epcot for Illuminations.

Unfortunately there is no easy way there. You can take the bus to EPCOT as others have said, or take it to Hollywood Studios and then hop of the boat to International Gateway. That will take a while though.

I'd take the bus to Epcot or take a cab to the Beach Club.

If you're going to bus to DHS and then boat to Epcot and then walk to Le Cellier, allow at least 90 minutes. The transportation itself doesn't take long, but you'll have to do some waiting both times and some walking.

we took a cab to BW then walked to Epcot. Early dinner, BW for some adult entertainment, Jellyrolls, then a cab back to our resort. Cab fare was worth not having to deal with the bus!
