hey all :wave:,
is it just me and my family but the only place we like to eat in AK is rainforest cafe, nothing else in the park *tickles our fancy* i mean i know theres a MCdonalds but to be honest i dont really lik macdonalds in the US just because im used to the taste of the english ones!
as you have probly guessed me and my family are fussy eaters but in no other park do we have this problem!

Well Rainforest Cafe is a chain and the food isn't very imaginative, but I was really surprised when they closed down the one by us... it was always busy.

The food at Tusker House is better...delicious chicken and salmon dinners and its a counter service too! Haven't tried Flametree BBQ yet, but I've heard some very good things about it. If those aren't for you, why not head over to the AKL and try the restaurants there?

Just so you know the McDonald's serves MCD fries and nuggets, everything else is just regular hamburgers(not the kind you get at a MCD) and hot dogs, its actually pretty good!

Wow! That's hard to believe!

Considering that Tusker House and Flame Tree BBQ routinely come up in many member's favorite list, I'm suprised that the best you can pick is the Rainforest cafe. This is especially when that restaurant has such horrible reviews on here already.

Have you tried Tusker House and Flame Tree BBQ, and didn't like either of them?

Flame Tree BBQ - Chicken, ribs, pork sandwiched, fantastic fruit salads and a great outdoor dining area. Give it a try.

As Tigsmom said, Tusker House has a great selection of grub.

Or if you want to go for something "less risky" the Pizza place is not too shabby. Not great, but not shabby.

Go on - give your taste buds something to enjoy

Pizzafari has great food as well

You can get:
- a hot italian deli sandwich (my favorite WDW food item of all time)
- chicken parmesean sandwich
- pizza
- breadsticks
- chicken caesar salad
- etc

Now I am one of the few that loves RFC, but we have one locally, and it is much better than either of the Disney locations... Though I have to say the AK locale is better than the DTD location--the one at DTD is way too crowded--meaning the tables are too close together...and the service is terrible... BUt I think the food at RFC is fine... but I can eat there anytime at home...

I do wish that AK had a Disney sitdown restaurant at AK... but I have to say that we really enjoy Flame Tree...and I have heard great things about Tusker House but have never tried it... I think Pizzafari is subpar--I ate there once and was not impressed...

The bbq chicken and key lime pie at FT is delish.

I thought McD's food tasted the same no matter where you were in the world... I've never noticed it tasted any differnt in Europe or Canada or St. Martin, for instance....

well i dont like pizza strange i know but i cant stand cheese i am goin to give tuskers ago this time i think
