I'd prefer Pandora to take over Autopia/Subs/MBC or Simba Parking.

100% agree. There’s good space there, and making it a merger with Tomorrowland as a “new society” in time with nature has a better message and cohesiveness than anywhere else.

You guys have a lot of of faith in modern Disney/ WDI. What recent project are you pulling this trust/faith from? Modern Disney/ WDI leveling the subs/ Autopia scares the crap out of me. I have no faith that it would be as harmonious with its surrounding area and fit the scale/ charm of the park. You want them to take this project on 30 days after we saw the TBA POV? I say let’s take a beat and let’s see them get 2-3 projects in a row right first.

I have zero love for Autopia and Nemo Subs are only good to look at from the land, so there's very little risk with Pandora going there. Plus it helps them possibly start to fix TL. Putting Pandora in Hollywoodland at DCA doesn't work on a wide variety of levels.

Let it be said, I did enjoy the original subs and was excited about the Atlantis subs in the early 2000's. But Nemo doesn't fit the land and isn't that interesting to ride.

I’m ready for autopia and the submarine to be axed. I wouldn’t mind Avatar there. I rather see something more exclusive and not tied to IP for DCA.

Though I am not opposed for dark ride development in the pier with Disney classic animation. That’s about it. I think the Pier is the only place where Disney can do anything to make it work.

I always wanted Pixar Pier to be Pleasure Island and themed to Pinocchio/Dumbo. A Dumbo flying darkride like Peter Pan that weaves in and out above the pier, Pinocchio reskin and show scenes added to Screamin/Incredicoaster, Pink Elephants on Parade Fun House darkride attraction with lots of fun visual gags.

I was completely surprised by my partner's response to the Subs when we want on them in June. Remember this is his first visit, and we kinda saved the Subs as a random thing to do when we needed something to do, on a low wait.

He loved them. He came off and said "That was so impressive, I didn't expect it to be such a big ride".

The scale / length impressed him a lot. The claustrophobic sub itself, not so much.

I had my own ideas for attractions based on Aristocats and The Great Mouse Detective. But I forgot how I wanted to approach Aristocats. It been so long since high school. And I never went on to be serious to be an imagineer.

Well, since Oliver & Company grossed more domestically at the box office than Princess and the Frog (adjusted for inflation), we can now revisit all of those underperforming properties now that PATF set the bar so low!

Oliver & Company E-Ticket confirmed!
Maybe it can replace Monsters Inc.?

Where is our Deadpool ride? The Deadpool coaster replaces the Incredicoaster.

California Adventure clears Animal Kingdom and it's not even close. Say what you will about the theming overall not being as strong as Animal Kingdom, but DCA has way more fun high quality rides, and MORE of them. Animal Kingdom is about to have 5 RIDES, that is a joke for a 27 year old park to have a hands worth of rides lol. Animal Kingdom has Avatar which imo has really aged poorly for it being just a screen ride, overrated. Give me Radiator Springs Racers with it's incredible scenery, theming, real sets and fun thrill! Incredicoaster is fantastic, and wipes Everest as a coaster and thrill ride. While the theming isn't as strong, the ride is WAY better as a coaster and it's not even close. It's got to be one of the most satisfying roller coasters Disney has ever made! Incredicoaster has a long length, thrilling drops (beyond Disney thrills), bunny hills, a great loop, and very solid airtime. Everest is too much stop-start and has a really meh layout compared to Incredicoaster. Guardians: Mission Breakout is SO much fun, and is honestly more fun to me then Tower of Terror because of it's fun Guardians theme and music throughout. Grizzly River Run WIPES Kali River Rapids. The Monsters Inc. dark ride is so much better then the underwhelming Na'vi River Journey and soon will be even better with the new Avatar boat ride coming to DCA. While there are some weak theming spots in Cali Adventure, there are also still some AMAZING themed lands. Of course, Cars Land is incredible and far better than Pandora, Grizzly Peak is beautiful, and Buena Vista Street is an excellent entry land. I guess overall I feel DCA might not have as strong theming as DAK's rides, DCA is far more fun and has better quality rides then Animal Kingdom.

We will agree to disagree.

I definitely disagree- from a coaster perspective Incredicoaster isn’t particularly unique to me. Everest with the backwards helix and track switches is very unique.

And that’s not talking about the theming.
Everest's backwards helix is nauseating. I find that section to be uncomfortable rather than enjoyable and thrilling. The layout is also just meh when you break down the track layout removing the elements of the ride. It has too much stop-start and readjusting. Incredicoaster might not as unique, but to me it absolutely is a better ride from a coaster perspective. The ride layout is far more fun and has a great loop, big drops, a fun launch, and most of all a really long length. It's the sixth longest steel coaster in the US! It's a long ride experience and satisfying from start to finish. Pure fun all the way through and it never lets up unlike Everest! What also drags Everest down for me is it's broken, non-functioning effects. It's whole lead up and centerpoint of the ride is the Yeti and it has a strobe light flashing on it lol. It's like watching a great movie fall in the final act. Incredicoaster (formerly California Screamin') didn't have any pretenses to it other then just being a fun, thrilling and satisfying roller coaster. It's a vibe, at least when it was California' Screamin'. The ride as a coaster is still fantastic and judged solely as a thrill ride, is absolutely better then Expedition Everest and an excellent, satisfying roller coaster in every way. It has a great single rider line like Everest too!

See, we can agree to disagree. Everest isn't really that unique with it's backwards section and track switches. Revenge of the Mummy in Florida and Hollywood in 2004 went backwards and both had track switches before Everest.

Agreed! Incredicoaster is a far better coaster than Everest. Everest has better themeing and storytelling, but the actual physical ride lacks flow, pacing, and the final punch of the yeti. Its good, but not Disney's best mountain by any stretch.

I prefer everest by far, it’s the most intense coaster i can handle without being too much. Incredicoaster with its upside down loop and poor tacked on storyline is both too intense and lackluster.

You had me until you said Incredicoaster is straight up more intense than Everest, which is debatable. I find that going backwards messes with me far more than a single inversion.

Surely you've done RNRC, right?
