DAK is, at its core, a great park that is extremely underbuilt.

Meanwhile.... DCA is foundationally mediocre, at best. It's just not a well designed park on a fundamental level. Its problems go far beyond not having enough rides. Half of the park is cheap and tacky and the other half still includes stuff like Radiator Springs, which while great, further dillutes the parks "themes" and affirms the idea that it is bereft of any depth.

I would not say these parks are comparable at all. DCA is just such a mess.

I indeed have done RNRC before and found it too much! I haven’t done incredicoaster tbh as the loop scared me off.
I'd encourage you to give Incredicoaster a shot the next time you're out west. It's a much smoother, gentler ride than RNRC with more gradual transitions and you only go upside down the one time. It's bark is much worse than its bite.

The Incredibles overlay is stupid, absolutely, and most here will not defend it. But it's absolutely a better ride at its core than RNRC.

Best summary of the two parks and their contrasting natures I've seen in a while. 100%.

Agreed! Incredicoaster is a far better coaster than Everest. Everest has better themeing and storytelling, but the actual physical ride lacks flow, pacing, and the final punch of the yeti. Its good, but not Disney's best mountain by any stretch.
Exactly! Incredicoaster is a far better roller coaster then Everest in every way. Everest certainly has better theming and story, but the actual ride doesn’t compare to Incredicoaster. No yeti finale other than a strobe light lol, and no consistent pace, or flow like Incredicoaster’s physical constant thrill. Incredicoaster is a far more satisfying coaster! Everest is good, but not even the best Disney World mountain, Big Thunder holds that title.

Where would I rather spend the day is the bigger question for me. DCA has lots of rides, that's for sure. But DAK is the clear winner. The theming, food choices, and general atmosphere is much more classic Disney Imagineering. When I go to DCA, I love Cars Land and Buena Vista Street. But once I hit Pixar Pier or Hollywood Studios Backlot, I strongly wish I'd gone to Disneyland instead. And I find the rides are better overall at Animal Kingdom.
