The beauty - trees, water, etc.
The animals - gorillas, bats, Komodo dragons and that rodent-dog-looking thing in the front of the park
The detail - buildings, gates, benches, all of it
*Expedition Everest
*Kilimanjaro Safaris
... uh, that's about all I got.
For the sake of completion and compliance with thread rules, here are three more...
*Flights of Wonder
*breakfast at Pizzafari (it is absolutely deserted every time!)
*character trails and background music at Camp Minnie-Mickey
1/2/3 'Africa'. Brilliantly executed, the one area of DAK that is truly immersive and engrossing. Harambe, the Safari and the Trail are each top notch.
4 Tree of Life and paths. Special, better than what you'll find at most zoos. But only without the deal-breaking netting.
5 Everest. Who cares about the Yeti. I ride it for the kick in the stomach the backwards part gives me!
1) Both walk-thru aviaries on the trails... well and the Barbirusas
2) I'll go with Finding Nemo
3) FoTLK
4) Kilimanjaro Safari
5) EE...although I came of dizzy the last 2 times. Think the dark/backwards spiral is starting to get to me.
