Close-up the bridge looks indeed finished to me, themeing and all. They've given it a dark green, rusty look to it. I think it fits very nicely as a connection between the Everest area and the Dinoland area. It fits whether you are entering Dinoland or you are crossing it to enter Asia. Looks very good close-up.

Am I the only one who thinks that system of fastpasses is ridiculous? It basically forces you to get a fastpass if you want to see the show--or at least have a good view of the show. They might as well just set up a reservation system with names and everything. You're basically buying a ticket [for free, of course, I know] to the show. To me, it seems discriminatory to have 80 percent (about what Indiana Jones was running) of the seats go to fastpass holders.

Maybe it's just me, but that sounds pointless.

dont worry, i feel the exact same way. i have NEVER been a fan of fastpass.. unless ofcourse i'm currently holding one.. but we all know how that goes. IMO fastpass as a whole has done more bad than good. but thats just me.

Actually, I think that system of fastpass makes th emost sense. It is a show and you are buying tickets to it.

If everyone understands that it isn't an issue.

It isn't a windowing thing like other fastpasses. It also achieves the same purpose as other fastpasses. You don't have to line up in the theater line as early.

It makes business sense in a way....because the possibility is greater for guest to spend money when they are walking around the park as opposed to standing in line and waiting for a show....

i was just talking about the system as a whole [didn't realize we were just focusing on fastpasses for shows.] in this case, its one of the rare cases i agree with fastpass. i agree that it makes sense to have fastpass for shows.

I hope normal folks don't get mad that nothing is really around the path yet. They might walk it not even meaning to go into DinoLand because they think something is on the path. I'd love to see someone's reaction of us Disney freaks taking a 100 pictures of a path.

Generally there are two shows of Fantasmic if crowds are expected to be high - so don't worry, i'm sure you'll get to see it :)

As far as the whole fastpass theory goes, I know when I get a fastpass, I'm not out in a shop just shopping away, I'm out in the hot sun, cluttering up the walkways. There is just nothing worthwhile to buy anymore that you can't get anywhere else

My only problem with a fast pass for Lion King is the placement of the Fast Pass dispenser. Do we have to walk all the way down to Camp Minnie Mickey just to get the pass, and then back up that narrow and usually crowded walkway to do something else, then back down to Camp Minnie Mickey for the show? We don't have small children, so there is NOTHING else to do down there. Please somebody tell me they had the good sense to put the fast pass machines up by Pizzafari.

Rehab of Pocahontas will include stage and theater rehab. No changes to the show itself, as far as I know.

Don't worry about Lion King Fastpass yet. It's just a test! Each day distribution will be in a different location, and the queue may be reworked. I'm personally not thrilled about Fastpass- yet. But things may change.

An interesting thing to note: in my March 10 update, first picture (of the bridge), you can see the newly installed green handrail compared to the aged bridge. The handrail has since been aged to match.

More Everest info. coming tomorrow night!!!:)
