With all of the animals roaming the property of AK Lodge, does the hotel smell like animal dung?

Oh my! No, it doesn't. The animals are not THAT close!:lol:

No. They keep the savannah very clean. Actually, the lobby of the hotel smelt very good. I wish they made a candle with that scent! :lol:

AKL

We just got back and the only smell at the AKL is the aroma's from BOMA, they are fabulous. The animal keepers are constantly out in the savanah keeping everything tip top.

Actually, I work at DAKL and I can honestly say that I have never noticed any smells outside on the savanna. Our animals are all at least 20 ft. from the savanna view rooms so there is enough buffer that you wouldn't notice it if there were a smell. As a front desk/back office cast member, I have never had an issue arise of animal odor.

Just got back from there and the aroma from Boma was soooo fabulous. No animal smells at all the whole week we were there.
