Animal Kingdom Lodge Question

Meega, nala kwishta!
We've been going the AKL since the first year it opened, so we are very familiar with that resort (now called Jambo House). We bought intro DVC for AKLV when they first offered it and stayed at the main lodge the first year (1 bedroom) and then we've stayed in Kidani the last two years in 2 bedroom villas with family.

They both are wonderful.

The do have some slight differences though.

Jambo is "louder" and a bit more active in the lobby and resturant area. It's also has a much larger lobby. It's definatly the bigger "Wow" factor between the two.

It also has three places to eat...Jiko, Boma, The Mara. And it's market shop is larger and better stocked.

Kidani is much more intimate compaiered to the main resort. The market is much smaller, and it has only one place to eat, Sanaa. But their food is very good and on the same level at the main lodge. It's deffinatly quiter and feels of a slower pace.

Room wise, they are very similar with small differences. We picked the 2 bedrooms at Kidani the last two years because they are not lock off rooms but one big suite. The lodge is set up as a one bedroom and a studio with a lock off door. Plus they only have like six of them.

We are going back to the lodge for next years trip with a studio. We've missed some of the activites and pace of the main lodge.

I think you'll like either and they are very easy to get back and forth to, so you can visit either on your trip.
