Does anyone know what the bathroom looks like in the jambo house 1 Bedroom Villa - Savanna View? I've looked on the wdw resort but I still don't see it :) We are booked for October there and was just wondering :) Thanks so much!

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Just an FYI the bathroom in a 1 bed villa at Kidani Village is much bigger and nicer. As is the whole room overall at Kidani. Has the same large jacuzzi tub but also has a large seperate shower. And you have an additional full bathroom in the front room in the 1 bed villa. So 2 full baths and larger and nicer master bath than at Jambo. :)

IMHO, the rooms at Kidani are better, as is the pool area. The gift shop and restaurant choices are better at Jambo.

Thank you :) That's what I've heard so far.. We are so excited about our first trip to Disney! Is it within walking distance from kidani from jambo? If we stay in kidani is it easy to get to the restaurants in Jambo?

Shuttle comes every 10-15 minutes but the walk from lobby to lobby can be easily made in less than 9 minutes. The shuttle is also nice if you want to pool hop between the resorts but if you're at Kidani then you're already at the better pool and, IMO, better bar.

Thanks so much!! The pics are great! I appreciate it :) I would love to go at CHRIStmas time, it looks beautiful!

And they have a beautiful large tree up in Kidani's lobby as well at Christmastime. That's our fave time to go the first few weeks of December. I guess you figured out I'm partial to Kidani by now! Haha! We loved it so much we bought there to make it our home DVC resort in 2013. :D

Always glad to help where I can because I know how overwhelming that can be. I was in your position before when we started going as adults again. It's a lot and really regardless of my partialness they are both wonderful resorts as most are on property. Be prepared you may be hooked after your first trip to WDW. Lol :inlove:

Haha! My hubby was much like yours and once he went again a time or 2 he became hooked. (His fave character is Grumpy for a reason haha) He used to swear we would never buy into DVC ever! And then several more trips later after always staying in DVC rooms or Deluxe in general he said you know what it might be a good idea with the rising costs of the rooms we like to stay in. Now almost every year we go for 2 weeks at a time in the fall Oct-Dec. Your hubby will come around just be patient. :joyfull::D

I don't think it's bad, but I've heard many complain about the distance. Yet, it was just a 10-minute walk (lobby-to-lobby)...so not bad, especially when you consider all of the walking you'll do at the park. If you don't like to walk, you can take a shuttle, but I hate waiting for shuttles when I can easily walk the distance.

To give you some perspective, my family (including two teenagers and one 78-year old grandpa) walked from Kidani to Boma for dinner one night. No one complained about the distance.
