Animal Kingdom Construction

Animal Kingdom is my second favorite park, mostly because I think it is beautifully designed, but everyday I feel like I hear another part of it is behind construction walls. I am going at the beginning of November, and I was wondering if anyone who has been lately can tell me how bad it is.

I was really looking forward to running through there at night, during the Wine and Dine 1/2 and I just want to mentally prepare myself for all the construction walls.

I am especially curious if anyone knows when the Tree of Life ones might come down. I tried searching for the info, but I couldn't find any specifics.

Thanks!

I don't know what construction walls you speak off around the Tree of Life, but I remember reading somewhere that the netting on the tree of life has been removed!?

Thanks guys :)!

I had seen the info on Rivers of Light construction, that's part of what I am sad about :(. I realize that will definitely still be there in November. I'm curious to know what else will be a construction zone.

I know it's a weird thing to be upset about but I'm been trying to make peace with all the changes (Poly fountain, Malestrom, ect.), and this is just one more thing to be ready for! I just really like the immersion into another world aspect of Disney, and construction walls kind of ruin the theme.

Yensid67, I've seen a lot of pictures lately with construction walls up around that front of the Tree of Life, where the picture spot usually is, but I could be wrong, and it could be the backside, across the river. I can't find any specific info on it, and if there is an end date.

The current construction walls are up at AK:
On both sides of the Outfiters shop.
The front plaza of the Tree of Life near the Dug and Russell Meet and Greet - There are none in the backside of the tree
Behind Tamu Tamu Resfreshments
There is one in front of Flame Tree for the coffee kiosk installation - that should be done before you arrive
The construction wall for Avatar by Pizzafari
And Rivers of Lights installation

So yes there is a lot of construction is going on. But at least everything is open and they are building new stuff!

Thanks TowerOfTerror and yensid67!

I am definitely trying to look at the bright side of things. I know it's silly thing to worry about, and it will still be an amazing trip :).

Many things in life have tried to derail this trip since I signed for the 1/2 marathon in March, and I've already been questioning my decision to go this year. I know that this will be my last trip to Disney for awhile, and now that I've decided I am definitely going, I'm just getting grumpy about things that won't be perfect :). That's a good way to not have fun though, so I will enjoy all the things that will be amazing and let the rest go!

Thanks for the replies!
