Animal Kingdom Character Greetings

First of all, I love Animal Kingdom and usually visit WDW two to three times a year from nyc

I think the whole character greetings there need a major overhaul

If there are any cast members who can make the following suggestions for me please do

I know that Camp Mikey and Minnie was only suppose to be temporary when the park opened, but it looks like it will be around for much longer

May I suggest re-theming the enclosures to be individual movie themes to match the "lands" of Animal Kingdom

Asian themed (Jungle Book,Mulan,etc)
African themed (Tarzan,Lion King, etc)
American Forest themed (Pocahontas, Bambi, Brer characters, Classic characters,etc)
Fantasy themed (Fantasia, Villains, etc)

Fur characters 6 days a week and face characters once a week, whichever day (Tues or Weds) is the park's slowest day to attract more guests

Jungle Book - a home for Baloo, King Louie, and others as well as Mowgli and his girlfriend once a week (i am sure there are other costumes from the Jungle Book show that predated Tarzan Rocks)

Tarzan - Terk, Jane, Tarzan , and perhaps some other monkeys (there are plenty of costumes left over from Tarzan Rocks)

Lion King - Timon and Rafiki of course, and once a week the performers from the Lion King show to be out for photos and autographs, they are so good at their jobs, they deserve some praise

Classics - Song of the South, Brother Bear, Mickey and friends, Marie the cat, Launchpad McQuack, any other animal characters that they have around

I would love to see some character changes at AK as well. They've had the same characters for a long time. Meeko, Terk, Rafiki, Timon, Baloo, King Louie etc. Bre'r Rabbit is back appearing daily at the Oasis.

Mowgli would be a nice addition to the park. John Smith would be a good there as well with Pocahontas. I know they used to have Tarzan and Jane Porter out for meet n greets.

If the current rumors pan out, Camp Minnie-Mickey's days are numbered to begin with. Character greeting is going to have to go soemwhere else.

animal kingdom characters

any new characters out at animal kingdom lately?

I don't mind Camp Minnie Mickey, I think it makes a lot of sense to have a location that guests can find the main characters at all day long every day and it's a fairly pleasent location for waiting in line in comparison with Toon Town or Character Spot. I like the characters in their camp/safari gear and I think it's nicely themed.

I think the Oasis area should be done away with as it's complete chaos for the cast members and a safety hazard for them.

I love the Jungle Book characters and think they would fit nicely almost anywhere in the Asia area of the park even though they're currently in Tamu. Same with Timon and Rafiki anywhere in Africa and possibly Tarzan and Jane. With her show gone Pochantas doesn't really fit anywhere except for Camp or Rafiki's Planet Watch where she currently is. Wouldn't really make much sense to see a Native American in Africa or Asia.

As much as I would like to see more characters it just wouldn't make sense for Animal Kingdom to over load themselves with rare characters like Launchpad or Marie. Realistically Disney would have a hard time staffing that many characters and it doesn't seem like a smart choice budget wise.
