Andy's Room

Just came across a complete rumour article but it pertained to the discussion on the permit for Andy's Room and I thought it was interesting.

It is suggesting that Disney is actually building Andy's Room in the former Tomorrowland Arcade space at some point in the future.

Yes, I mentioned this in the first post on this thread. I didn't want to link to it because it's clearly inaccurate. They believed the drawing in the permit was the Tomorrowland Arcade, which it is not.

Sorry...I didn't/don't see your reference to this article. I thought others might be interested in reading the article, although I fully admit it is unreliable.

But I do think the idea is relevant to the discussion, even if the facts are off. While they may have the location wrong, there is a remote possibility (hope, dream?) that Andy's Room might be built.

The permit is for (as noted earlier in the thread) HVAC work. That's not implying much of anything else....

Yes, I have been following on and believe you are right. Just came across this article and thought it was interesting as it pertained to the discussion and I had not seen it posted here. I'm not saying the article is correct.

Still think the idea of Andy's Room being built somewhere on Disney property is a cool one.

The article isn't worth reading because it is just plain wrong.

Isn't it closing for a month-long refurbishment at the start of 2016? Maybe something major-ish is happening and it will be referred to as Andy's Room going forward…? Just spitballing right now.

"Andy's Room" is in WDW, its the loading area for TSMM.......
