How cool would it be if this were true! ( Confession..I don't know if it is or isn't ). But if it is true, it would be so abused! I would equate it to the wedding tradition of clicking the glasses to have the bride and groom kiss. After a while, the clanging gets so out of hand, the kissing just stops..

That being said, I would be the first one running up to them yelling " Andy's coming!! " :)

LOL, I would honestly abuse this so much if it really did work. "Andy's coming!! Ok he's gone! Wait, Andy is coming back!!!"

Gonna try it soon.

My daughter showed me this picture this afternoon and I just saw a video on YouTube where a CM says that it used to be true, but Disney has since changed it where they aren't supposed to. She said sometimes they will stop moving and stay perfectly still for a moment, but they don't have to if they don't want to.

Would have been cool to try out!

Think for yourselfer
It makes no sense in the context of the parks. The toys are not frozen in place exclusively for Andy, it's all humans. So, by having them moving at all, we are suspending the belief that we should not see them being active. Why would that flip around, just because "Andy" might be coming?
